First Anti-microbial Keyboard with Microban Protection
Safe, secure and stable – the InduMedical™ of the Keyboard Manufacturer InduKey® sets a new standard in data input.
The outstanding feature of the foil covered keyboard is the antimicrobial surface. The foil avoids the growth and extension of germs (z.B. MRSA, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Streptococcus faecalis). Additionally the foil avoids the contamination of the user. The protection is ensured by application of an active reacting and special treated front foil (Microban®-technology).
The keyboard was developed especially for medical, pharmaceutical and other hygiene-sensitive applications like food industry. InduMedical™ can be recommended especially for use in industries, where the manufacturing process have to be according to the rules of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and HACCP (Hazard Analysis and critical Point-System).
The InduMedical™ is a foil covered short travel keyboard. Because of the usage of high quality OMRON-switches the appliance has a good tactile feedback and is comfortable to operate. The chassis is an insulated housing which ensures robustness and stability. Concerning to the expected application environment the keyboard is protected against dust, dirt, grease and is splash-proofed; the protection level is IP65. Therefore the surface can be cleaned and disinfected completely.
The keyboard is offered both as compact version and as version with incorporated touchpad. PS/2 and USB is available as interface. The keyboard-layout is made for the common layouts US and German; other layouts are available on request. Coincident InduKey® offers all customized solutions of this keyboard type.
